Dylan Horrocks
Dylan Horrocks is the author of the graphic novels Hicksville and Sam Zabel & the Magic Pen, and the collection Incomplete Works. His comic book series include Pickle and Atlas, and he has written Batgirl, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight and Hunter: the Age of Magic for DC Comics. His comics and graphic novels have been published in more than 10 languages and have received awards and nominations around the world, including the Eisner, Harvey, and Ignatz Awards. He has been writer in residence at Auckland University and Victoria University, and in 2016 he was named a NZ Arts Foundation Laureate. He currently teaches comics and visual narrative at Victoria University of Wellington. His most recent publication is the zine Secret Door, a collection of comics, essays, and minigames about Fantasy Role-Playing Games.
